Nice place with friendly staff, free wi-fi, and a cozy bar area. I remember how the staff helped me print some documents on my first stay. I recommend trying the in-room breakfast. I'm coming back for Christmas.

The breakfast was very very good and delicious with many great dishes made to order, all the food was cheap. The hotel had a very central setting close to the main area of Oxford so easy to walk round the city.

We had a really great stay for second night of stay.
We didn't have time, but we would return there. They gave us cosy room with excellent facilities. The food was fab, had lots of options.

Property was quaint and unique, I loved the stay.
Excellent value, room was pleasantly decorated, staff were well experienced! Booked a room with exceptional views by the garden and the position.

The place was fabulous and unique, we liked it. The location of the hotel was pleasant and fascinating - within walking distance of The Covered Market Oxford. Budget standard queen room, the service was very good.

Parking availability could be improved!!! Room temperature control needs attention!!! Cleanliness in bathrooms must match the hotel's claims!!! Stronger attention to the bar's noise issues would enhance comfort!!!

Spotted this hotel whilst watching an episode of Lewis and decided to give it a try.Excellent location for exploring both the city and nearby attractions. Standard of accommodation was extremely high and the old prison features retained added to the atmosphere. Food excellent. All the staff were very helpful. It definitely got our vote.
